Leeds United transfer rumours as bid 'submitted 'for PSV left-back, Summerville contract talks

Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Thursday, 28 July.

Bid for left-back

Leeds United have reportedly submitted a bid for PSV Eindhoven defender Philipp Max, according to Tuttomercatoweb. They claim that the Whites have stepped up their search for a left back and have made an offer of £7 million for the German international.

Leeds currently have no fit left backs across the entirety of their squad, with Junior Firpo still recovering from injury and Leif Davis having left for Ipswich Town. Max scored two goals and provided six assists in all competitions last season.

Summerville contract

Leeds United are reportedly in advanced talks over a new deal for young winger Crysencio Summerville. That is according to Football Insider, who claim that Summerville is highly rated at Elland Road and Leeds are keen to secure his long-term future.

The 20-year-old has just one year left remaining on his current deal and could be set for a bigger first team role this season after his breakthrough last term. He has so far made nine senior appearances for the Whites.

Milan raise CDK offer

AC Milan have reportedly raised their offer for Club Brugge forward Charles de Ketelaere. That is according to journalist Luca Bianchin, who claims that de Ketelaere is now just one step away from the San Siro after Milan increased their bid to €35 million including bonuses.

Leeds United have had a bid on the table for the 21-year-old for several weeks now, but de Ketelaere’s preference of a move to Milan means the Whites have had to take a back seat. Milan have been haggling over the fee for a number of days but finally appear to have satisfied Brugge’s demands.
