Here are your Leeds United transfer rumours and gossip on Wednesday, April 26.
Kalvin Phillips linked with Liverpool move
Liverpool have targeted a move for former Leeds United favourite Kalvin Phillips as an alternative signing to Jude Bellingham this summer.
That is according to The Mirror, who claim Jurgen Klopp wants to 'take advantage' of his situation at Man City where he has found game time hard to come by this season.
Phillips joined Man City from Leeds last summer after an impressive rise at Elland Road saw him establish himself as a regular in England's midfield.
Leeds United handed major boost for £13m PSG starlet El Chadaille Bitshiabu
Leeds United have been handed a major boost in their quest to sign Paris Saint-Germain youngster El Chadaille Bitshiabu after reports suggest the Ligue 1 side could sell him if the right offer comes in.
The Whites have long been linked with the 6'5 17-year-old, who has already made 13 appearances for the senior team alongside the likes of Sergio Ramos and Presnel Kimpembe - both of whom are currently injured.
Bitshiabu has been touted as worth around €15 million (£13.2m), meaning he'd be well within Leeds' budget for the summer transfer market according to French outlet Foot Mercato.
After adding the likes of Diogo Monteiro and Max Wober in January, Javi Gracia's side could be about to land another solid defensive investment for the future.
£44m Newcastle United target told to snub Eddie Howe for Leeds United move
Newcastle United target Perr Schuurs has been told that he'd fit in better with Leeds United if he were to ever make a move to England.
The 23-year-old has been vital in Torino's successful season so far, but has been linked with a £44m move to Newcastle United in recent reports.
But according to Dutch football expert Emile Schelvis, Schuurs should snub the Magpies and stay in Italy with the hopes of landing a move to Elland Road in the future.
"It’s very simple; if you play in a system with three defenders, as a central defender you always have to pick up the striker. Then you compete in the duels," Schelvis told VoetbalPrimeur.
"At Ajax, he could sometimes move from his position, from his zone. Now, if you always have to win duels, you become stronger. From an offensive point of view, too, a few things are expected of you. I have also seen him make the necessary passes.
"If I were him, I would stay in Italy for one more year, maybe on a slightly higher level than Torino. If you start testing him seriously, then maybe he could be suitable for England. I honestly think (Schuurs is best suited) to the category of Leeds United or Aston Villa."
