Leeds increase bid for Aaronson
Leeds have lodged an improved £20million bid for USA international Brenden Aaronson.
The Athletic report that the Whites are back in for the attacking midfielder after having a £15million bid rejected earlier in the window.
RB Salzburg are not keen on selling the player as they are still in the Champions League but Leeds’ latest bid could test their resolve.
Aaronson has netted one goal in 16 Bundesliga games this season.

Italian job on the cards?
Italian outlet CalgariNews24 claim Leeds are leading the race to sign Nahitan Nandez this month.
The 26-year-old Uruguayan - who is also attracting the interest of Newcastle and AC Milan - has two years left on his current deal and has been impressive for Calgilari this season.
Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bolster his midfield options and Nandez’s versatility would be a huge asset, with the player capable of operating out wide or centrally.
He is valued at around £20million.
Liverpool chase Phillips
Kalvin Phillips could be the subject of a €40million offer from Liverpool, according to Spanish outlet El Nacional.
The report suggests Phillips would be keen to join Jurgen Klopp’s side as he looks to take the next step in his career.
Phillips is currently injured until February but that has not deterred the Reds’ manager, who sees the enforcer as a long-term replacement for skipper Jordan Henderson.
It is unlikely Leeds would be willing to allow the 26-year-old to leave for that price with two-and-a-half years left on his contract.
