Leeds United supporters have been left to rue their club's transfer mistakes as loan star Diego Llorente and controversial transfer Jean-Kevin Augustin both made the semi-final stage in separate competitions on Thursday night.
The Spanish defender, who made the move to AS Roma back in January, played 72 minutes in the side's 4-1 win over Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord which meant they made the semi-finals of the Europa League for the second time in three seasons.
Elsewhere across Europe, Augustin netted an 86th-minute equaliser to send FC Basel's Europa Conference League tie against Nice to extra time where Kasim Nuhu scored the 98th-minute winner.

The result means they could meet Leeds' Premier League rivals West Ham in the Europa Conference League final in just over a month's time but they'll have to beat Fiorentina over two semi-final legs first.
Whites fans took to social media to discuss the pair's success on the European stage, with some hoping to take them back into the squad while others simply pondered on the lost opportunities.
