Leeds United supporters praise Jesse Marsch substitutions during Aston Villa draw

Leeds United fans have given their thoughts on the side's 0-0 draw against Aston Villa at Elland Road this afternoon after the Whites were able to fend off Villa with 10 men.

In what was a feisty affair, Leeds winger Luis Sinisterra was sent for an early shower as referee Stuart Attwell showed him a red card for sticking his foot out and stopping an Aston Villa free kick just three minutes after halftime.

Despite late chances for Patrick Bamford and Mateusz Klich, Leeds were able to get a point from the game and held on after going down to 10 men.

Fans took to social media after the match to discuss the result and here's what they had to say...

@Damien_Cms: A valuable point from a difficult scrappy game. The changes made after the sending off helped stifle any threat that Villa possessed. Meslier was excellent and a clean sheet on Cooper's return is a positive too. Not easy for teams to be sharp after a month without a game.

@JrmTansey: give Jesse the props here. Made the right changes after Sini red go to 5 back and grind out the point which could’ve turned to 3 in the last min

@BegleyDara: Massive draw. Proud of the boys

@OutlierOfSoccer: Got to give Marsch a lot of credit for rebuilding this team. This is something that Leeds could not do last year. The moment the game gets away it gets away hard.

@hoodedDeRozan: Down to 10 men is not bad to draw in the end…. it could have been worse for Leeds

@espugu: Good point. Sinisterra has to be more careful
