Leeds United supporters make Wilfried Gnonto plea to Javi Gracia with 'stacked' bench vs Forest

Leeds United supporters have questioned Javi Gracia's starting XI to take on Nottingham Forest in tonight's crucial Premier League match after fans called for some of the Whites substitutes - such as Wilfried Gnonto - to start over the likes of Brenden Aaronson.

Leeds know that a win over Forest would see them move out of the bottom three and above Steve Cooper's side with less than 10 games left to play. Just seven points separate the bottom nine teams in what is one of the tightest relegation battles in years.

Heading into the run-in, there is no one side that has been left behind by the pack and no clear acknowledgement of the points tally needed for safety. It therefore means that games like the one against Forest will be vital come May to ensure that the Whites finish on the right side of the thin line between the bottom three and the other 17 clubs.

The 4-1 defeat to Arsenal was an expected blow to the body, but Gracia knows that his side cannot afford to take any more damage against Forest. It would not be the decisice knockout blow should they lose, but ahead of another crunch relegation battle against Palace, Leeds would certainly be on the ropes.

Gracia is therefore hoping his side can get back to winning ways as he made two changes for his starting XI to take on Forest. Weston McKennie and Patrick Bamford came in for Rasmus Kristensen and Crycensio Summerville, while Gnonto returned to the bench after missing the Arsenal game with injury.

As news of the team for tonight's clash emerged, it did not take long before supporters took to social media to have their say on what they saw as the majority of Leeds' firepower being named on the bench instead of the starting XI.
