Leeds United supporters issue 'special' verdict as Michael Skubala confirms XI to face Everton

Leeds United supporters have given their thoughts on Michael Skubala's starting XI as the Whites travel down to relegation rivals Everton for a six-pointer at Goodison Park.

The Whites sit just one point ahead of the Toffees in the Premier League table, with both sides now looking to climb towards safety under new management.

It's an unchanged starting XI from the clash against Manchester United last weekend meaning Illan Meslier continues his duties in goal while Luke Ayling, Max Wober, Robin Koch and Junior Firpo line up in front of him.

USMNT duo Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie sit back in the midfield while Jack Harrison is sandwiched in between wingers Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto.

That leaves lone striker Patrick Bamford to lead the line for the Whites, but could find some reprieve from the bench later into the clash with Georginio Rutter, Brenden Aaronson and Mateo Joseph on the bench.

Also making another appearance in the matchday squad is late January transfer window signing Diogo Monteiro, with the 18-year-old starting on the bench alongside Joel Robles, Liam Cooper, Rasmus Kristensen, Darko Gyabi and Sam Greenwood.

Fans flocked online to discuss the line-up, with many claiming that the line-up was the strongest Skubala could've put out and praised him for keeping things unchanged.

One fan wrote: "That team is special, no reason why we shouldn’t come away with all 3 points today!", while another said: "I would've gone with Aaronson through the middle and Harrison out wide for Summerville, but that's a good team."

One fan hailed Skubala's decision to leave the side unchanged by saying: "Strong line up again! Feeling nervous about this one we need 3 points! Go and get it done lads #LUFC", while another simply wrote: "Good, time for Bamford to start getting in the goals."
