Leeds United supporters have hailed Archie Gray as the 'future of the club' after he signed his first professional contract with the Whites.
Having turned 17-years-old just five days ago - and therefore eligible to sign a professional deal with Leeds - Gray has wasted no time in committing his future to the West Yorkshire side. The midfielder has signed a two-and-a-half year deal that will see him remain at Elland Road until the summer of 2025.
Having quickly progressed through the academy, Gray has been tipped as one of the most highly-rated prospects to come through their ranks. Selected by Marcelo Bielsa at the age of just 15 in the Premier League has exemplified the potential that the Leeds youngster has, as he now looks to stake a place in the first-team.

Injuries have hampered his progress this season, but there was good news when Gray returned to action with the under-21s last week. Javi Gracia has already hinted that the teenager could well be one of the potential solutions to Tyler Adams' spell on the sidelines and fans will be desperate to see him in action as soon as possible.
Whether or not he is involved in Saturday's game against Wolves is still yet to be seen, but there is no doubt that he will be eager to show the club just how much he has to offer after signing his new deal.
Archie also becomes the fourth member of his family to feature for Leeds after his father, grandfather and great-uncle all represented the club in the past as well.
And as the news filtered through of Gray putting pen to paper on a professional contract, it did not take long before supporters took to social media to have their say over someone who has been tipped as a future Leeds star.
