Leeds United are still hoping to secure the signing of Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson before the end of the window.
The Whites have earmarked Aaronson as their first choice target this month and have submitted two bids for the USA international’s signature already.
Midfield has been an area of concern for Leeds for a while now and their need for reinforcements has been particularly heightened following the injuries to Kalvin Phillips and Adam Forshaw.
