Leeds United supporters all say the same thing as Whites reach FA Cup fifth round

Leeds United fans could not hide their excitement after the Whites beat Accrington Stanley 3-1 to reach the FA Cup fifth round for the first time since 2016.

Jack Harrison opened the scoring for Jesse Marsch's side in the 23rd minute with a searing 25-yard drive into the bottom corner. A deft touch from Patrick Bamford teed up the 26-year-old who let fly with a sensational first time effort that nearly burst through the netting.

As the teams emerged for the second-half, Leeds doubled their lead through the unlikely goalscorer Junior Firpo who scored his first goal this season after a superb pass from Bamford once again. And just moments later, Luis Sinisterra made it 3-0 to Marsch's side after he was picked out by Harrison - firing the ball home for 10-yards out.

Hopes of back-to-back clean sheets for Leeds disappeared in the 81st minute as 18-year-old substitute Leslie Adekoya scored from inside the six-yard box just seconds after coming on. for Accrington Another goal for the 'Owd Reds would have caused a nervy finish at the Wham Stadium, but Leeds kept calm and booked their spot in the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time in seven years.

The draw for the next round takes place on Monday, January 30 - as Leeds fans wait to find out who they come up against next. Supporters took to social media as the full-time whistle blew to both praise their side and show their excitement over making it past the fourth round.
