Leeds United star Raphinha releases fitness update amid uncertain future ahead of Australia trip

In-demand Leeds United winger Raphinha posted a fitness update on his Instagram story amid transfer speculation linking him with a move away from Elland Road. The Brazilian is still currently on holiday having spent most of the summer on international duty with his country.

The majority of the Whites' squad has returned for pre-season ahead of their trip to Australia on July 10, and unless Barcelona step up their efforts to sign the 25-year-old, then he's expected to be on the flight to the Gold Coast.

Jesse Marsch's side have already lost Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City, while Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Barcelona have all been linked with a move to Raphinha throughout the summer. It's believed the Nou Camp is his preferred destination, with former Barca playmaker Deco representing the Whites' winger.

However, as things stand, Chelsea remain unbeaten with the best offer on the table. Raphinha uploaded an image drenched in sweat and caption the picture with 'work' as he steps up his preparations before returning to Thorp Arch.

Many Whites supporters thought they'd seen the last of their talismanic winger after his display at Brentford saw Leeds survive on the final day of the season. Nonetheless, an offer from the Nou Camp is yet to land at Elland Road and Raphinha could well be on the flight to Australia, 10,000 miles away.
