Leeds United now know exactly what they need on the final day of the season to preserve their Premier League status - and it's a longshot.
Sam Allardyce's side slumped to a 3-1 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium, a result that means their top-flight fate is out of their hands going into the final weekend of the season.
It was Leeds who made the brighter start in east London, with some early pressure culminating in Rodrigo's opener, when the Spain international got on the receiving end of a long Weston McKennie throw and volleyed home.

The hosts then began to get a foothold in the game and levelled the scores on 31 minutes, through Declan Rice, with Leeds then seeing Patrick Bamford limp off with what looked like a hamstring issue.
Leeds would struggle to create chances after the break and it was the Hammers who deservedly took the lead on 72 minutes, when Jarrod Bowen netted before Manuel Lanzini completed the victory.
Saturday saw Everton claim an equaliser deep into stoppage time to earn a point in a 1-1 draw at Wolves, while Nottingham Forest's win against Arsenal was enough to secure their safety and ensure they can relax on Sunday. Leicester City, currently 19th in the table, visit Newcastle United on Monday night.
And for Leeds, today's deat West Ham means they need things to go their way on the final day as they will kick-off next week in the bottom three.
What Leeds need to do to finish above Everton
If Everton beat Bournemouth next weekend, Leeds will be relegated, whatever the Whites do against Tottenham.
An Everton draw and a Leeds win would see the team finish on the same points and it would go down to goal difference - with Everton beginning the day three goals better off than Leeds, so a three-goal win would be needed in order for them to survive on goals scored.
If Everton lose to Bournemouth, a win would see Leeds finish above the Toffees. A draw would not be enough.
What Leeds need to do to finish above Leicester City
Then there is Leicester to account for, with the Foxes currently a point behind Leeds in 19th. Should the Foxes get a draw at St James' Park, they will move ahead of Leeds on goal difference, meaning Leeds would need to better Leicester's final-day result to finish above them.
If Leicester beat Newcastle, they would have a two-point final-day advantage on Leeds and superior goal difference, so Leeds would need to win and would require a Leicester defeat to finish above Dean Smith's side.
The final-day fixtures
The Premier League season comes to a climax next Sunday, with all three of the relegation-threatened sides playing at home. Leeds host Tottenham, Everton welcome Bournemouth and Leicester City are at home to West Ham.
