Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Friday, 6 May 2022.
Kamada competition
Leeds United will face competition from Sevilla to sign Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada this summer. Reports emerged earlier today that the Whites are keen on a deal for Kamada this summer if Premier League survival is achieved in the final four games of the season.
But according to Calciomercato.com, La Liga side Sevilla, who are on the brink of qualifying for next season’s Champions League, are also interested in the 25-year-old. Kamada has enjoyed a fine campaign for Frankfurt, particularly in the Europa League, with nine goals and three assists in all competitions.

Bielsa January frustration
The hierarchy at Leeds United were reportedly left frustrated by Marcelo Bielsa’s refusal to sanction January deals for either Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek or Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks, according to the Athletic. It was well documented that Leeds were interested in adding another midfielder to their ranks, but after two failed bids for Brenden Aaronson, they instead opted to settle for what they had.
Van de Beek and Winks were both available for loan in the January window, with the former making a temporary switch to Everton and the latter below Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur and Oliver Skipp in Antonio Conte’s pecking order at Spurs. Midfield is an area that Leeds have struggled in for a number of months now, particularly given that Kalvin Phillips has missed a large chunk of the season through injury.
