Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, 25 January 2022.
Aaronson stance
Brenden Aaronson will not force through a move to Leeds United this month despite his interest in joining the club.
That is according to the Athletic, who claim that while he is keen to come and play in the Premier League, he is not willing to sour relations with his current club RB Salzburg to move.
Leeds have submitted two bids for Aaronson’s signature this month after earmarking him as their number one midfield target.
However, Salzburg have held firm in their stance that he is not for sale at this point of the season due to their upcoming Champions League last-16 tie with Bayern Munich.
Kamara talks
Leeds United are reportedly among the clubs who have held talks with the representatives of Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Aston Villa and Manchester United have spoken to his agents.
Kamara is out of contract in the summer and is not likely to sign a new deal with Marseille, who would be open to selling this month for £10 million.
The France Under-21 international, though, is speaking to foreign clubs with a view to moving in the summer instead.
Another loan for Clarke?
League One promotion hopefuls Sunderland are reportedly eyeing up a loan move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke before next week’s deadline, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.
The former Leeds United youngster has struggled to force his way into first team reckoning in North London since his £10 million move two-and-a-half-years ago.
Should a move to the Stadium of Light happen, it would be the fourth side Clarke has spent time on loan while at Spurs.
Clarke has had temporary spells at Leeds, QPR and Stoke City, but a move to Sunderland would represent the first time dropping below the Championship in his career.
