Leeds United reportedly 'turned down' by Real Madrid legend Raul

Raul Real Madrid Leeds United Jesse Marsch Andoni Iraola AS Castilla Rayo Vallecano Whites

Spain and Real Madrid legend Raul has 'turned down' the chance to succeed Jesse Marsch at Leeds United, according Spanish publication AS.

Marsch was sacked by Leeds on Monday following a run of two wins in 17 league games, and having gone seven matches without a victory in the Premier League.

Ex-Leeds assistant and under-23s coach Carlos Corberan is among the contenders, while The Athletic have reported that the Whites are 'weighing up an approach' for Rayo Vallecano boss Andoni Iraola.
