Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis has reportedly emerged as a target for Leeds United.
That's according to Nigerian outlet Mobile Punch who claim that the Dennis has been identified as a player to add more firepower to their attack ahead of their Championship season. The Whites will be looking for a swift return to the Premier League.
Dennis made the switch from Watford for a reported fee of £15million last summer. However, he has struggled to hit consistent form, scoring just two goals in 27 appearances.
Despite being under contract until 2026, Dennis is "highly likely" to leave the City Ground this summer. Recent reports claimed that the striker's representatives "held exploratory talks with potential interested parties."

It also stated that the player would be "comfortable" leaving the Reds if an opportunity presented itself. The report claims that Leeds could be one of those teams interested as they look for alternatives following Patrick Bamford's inconsistent form of late.
Another report in Nigeria claims that Leeds are "preparing a bid" for Dennis. It is thought the 26-year-old would favour staying in Europe..
Asked about whether Dennis still has a future at the club, boss Steve Cooper previously said: "All of the players do. We have a settled group. We would like to improve and make changes, and if we do, great.
"If we don’t, we carry on with our work. But that is just normal transfer behaviour and process. We will see where we are at the end of the window."
