Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, 7 June .
Phillips contract
Leeds United are reportedly in ‘ongoing’ contract talks with Kalvin Phillips despite speculation linking him with a move away. That is according to the Daily Telegraph, who claim that his exit is ‘not guaranteed’ despite strong interest from Manchester City and Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola is thought to have earmarked Phillips as his number one target to replace Fernandinho this summer, as he returned to his native Brazil after nine years at the club. But Phillips has repeatedly made it clear in the past he would like to stay at Leeds and contract negotiations are now ongoing.

Adamu interest
Leeds United are reportedly plotting a third summer raid of Red Bull Salzburg for striker Junior Adamu. The Whites have already confirmed the signing of Brenden Aaronson from the Austrian champions and right back Rasmus Kristensen is also believed to be on the verge of following him.
According to Sky Sports Austria, Leeds along with Southampton, West Ham United, Hertha Berlin, Red Bull Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are all keen on the 21-year-old. Adamu could be available for around £10million this summer after his first full season in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Mixed Minamino response
Leeds United fans have provided a mixed view on whether Takumi Minamino plus cash for Raphinha would be a good deal for the club. Liverpool are interested in Leeds’ Brazilian star as a replacement for Sadio Mane, who looks set to leave Anfield this summer after six years with the club.
Some reports claim that Jurgen Klopp would be prepared to use Minamino as part of a deal to bring Raphinha to Merseyside, with the Japanese international very much a fringe player at Liverpool. Leeds are set to demand in excess of £60 million for Raphinha, though Liverpool will be hoping that the inclusion of Minamino as part of a deal would bring that down, particularly given the Whites were reportedly keen on signing him in January.
