Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Thursday, 10 November 2022.
Wolves verdict
Wolves caretaker manager Steve Davis has admitted Leeds United provided his side a 'tough' test despite the Whites making 10 changes. Jack Harrison was the only player to remain in the XI from the weekend win over Bournemouth, with Darko Gyabi, Sonny Perkins and Mateo Joseph all being handed debuts.
Leeds remained in the game throughout the 90 minutes but were eventually beaten thanks to Boubacar Traore's goal six minutes from time. Speaking after the game, Davis claimed it was a win Wolves needed given their recent league form.
He said: “Yeah, delighted with the win, probably needed that going into Saturday,” Davis said. “Pleased to win the game and keep a clean sheet. Confidence is important.

"This week's been tough with the three games. Tonight was hard, even though they had a lot of changes. It was still a tough game for the boys.
"I thought we played quite well first half. Second half was very scrappy. I didn't expect that [Traore's winner]. He does practice shooting. They don't tend to go in."
Marsch praise
Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch has praised his youth talent after their 'impressive' performances in his side's 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round. An 84th minute goal from Boubacar Traore was enough to separate the two sides as the Whites dropped out of the competition a stage earlier than last season.
Marsch handed out four debuts to Darko Gyabi, Mateo Joseph, Sonny Perkins and Joel Robles and the quartet all had good showings but couldn't make a big enough impact to find the win. Speaking to LUTV after the match, Marsch highlighted the youth players he put in and praised them individually, happy with what he saw.
"Yeah, cup matches can go a lot of different way but we knew we'd put a lot of young players out on the pitch - a lot of young players that we believe in - and I think they performed really well. Against a good opponent, an opponent that played a lot of guys that have a lot of first-team minutes, a lot of Premier League minutes, I thought we had a really good performance and were unlucky not to come away with more."

49ers latest
Leeds United shareholders 49ers Enterprises are moving towards a full takeover of the club in the not-too-distant future. That’s according to a report by The Times, which claims the Americans have secured the funding required to be able to make such an investment.
The 49ers already own 44 per cent of the club’s shares with chairman Andrea Radrizzani holding the other 56 per cent. However, they do hold an option to buy out Radrizzani and become majority shareholders of the Yorkshire club in January 2024.
It seems a takeover is on the agenda for 49ers Enterprises, owned by the York family, with the report claiming they could be in a position to take action at the end of the season. The Whites are currently 12th in the Premier League table, but relegation is still a possibility and just two weeks ago Leeds were in the bottom three.
