Here are your latest Leeds United headlines for Wednesday, December 14.
Leeds urged to sign Tyler Adams' USA teammate
Leeds United have been urged to sign Tyler Adams' USA teammate Yunus Musah. The Valencia midfielder shone alongside Adams at the 2022 World Cup as USA reached the Round of 16 in Qatar.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a transfer to the Premier League in recent months and presenter Joe Wainman believes a move for Musah would be a 'no-brainer'.

Wainman said on his Just Joe YouTube show: “Looking at his market value, around about £20m, and due to the fact that Valencia are actually open to selling him, I think it’s one Leeds United 100% have to be all over.
“You get an injury to [Tyler] Adams or a [Marc] Roca, we’re in a really poor situation. But if you can go out and get someone who’s had an excellent World Cup for around about £20m and the club itself is willing to do business, then for me, it’s a no-brainer.”
Darko Gyabi braced for Leeds United surprise when Tyler Adams example is repeated
Opportunity will knock for one Leeds United player when Manchester City visit Elland Road two weeks today. Tyler Adams’ suspension guarantees at least one slot from the last competitive match is up for grabs when the Premier League reconvenes.
Adam Forshaw might be the smart-money bet for picking out Marc Roca’s partner when the champions visit, but his injury record and limited minutes this season don’t make it a foregone conclusion. The likes of Mateusz Klich, Sam Greenwood and Darko Gyabi are waiting in the wings too.
Gyabi, not even 19 until February, was quickly promoted from the under-21 ranks and into the senior fold as Jesse Marsch took the cream of that crop under his wing. Along with Sonny Perkins, Mateo Joseph and Archie Gray, Gyabi’s potential has been acknowledged by the coaching staff.
Jesse Marsch's Leeds United objectives as Whites step up Premier League restart preparations
Leeds United will step up their preparations for the Premier League restart this week as they take on Real Sociedad in a friendly at Elland Road. The Spanish outfit travel to West Yorkshire on Friday and Jesse Marsch will be hopeful that they can provide a stern test for his side.
The Whites return to Elland Road next Wednesday for another friendly, this time against AS Monaco, who travel with just a week remaining until Leeds get their season up and running once more against Manchester City. As such, Marsch will be keen to see plenty of progress made in the two games before Christmas.
Here’s a look at some of the things he’ll be hoping to see against Sociedad and Monaco.
