Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Tuesday, 8 November.
McKinstry talks
Leeds United are planning contract talks with on-loan winger Stuart McKinstry, according to the Scottish Sun. McKinstry is currently on a season-long loan with boyhood club Motherwell and has impressed with two goals and one assist in the Scottish Premier League.
The 20-year-old's current deal at Elland Road is set to expire in the summer and Leeds are keen to ensure he does not leave the club on a free transfer. Championship duo Sheffield United and Stoke City are two clubs reportedly keeping tabs on his situation.
Phillips on Haaland
Former Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has confirmed the rumour that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is indeed a Whites fan and that fans might see him at Elland Road sooner rather than later. It's been long rumoured that Haaland is a Leeds fan but now Phillips, who swapped Elland Road for the Etihad Stadium in the summer transfer window, gave the truth.

Both players were born in Leeds, with Phillips being raised in the city and came up through the youth academy supporting the Whites, giving him and Haaland a special connection. Speaking on BBC Radio 5Live's Monday Night Club, Phillips was asked about whether him and Haaland have spoken about their shared connection and he admitted they're looking at catching a game together.
"Erling Haaland is a Leeds fan, yeah. Obviously I'm looking forward to going back to Elland Road, it'll be an unbelievable moment for me, it'll be a strange moment when I walk into the away dressing room, the fans not singing my name."

Youngsters to feature?
Jesse Marsch is expected to ring the changes on Wednesday night when Leeds United travel to face Wolves in the third round of the Carabao Cup. The Whites have expressed their desire to enjoy a cup run this season and while Marsch will shuffle his pack, he’ll name a side that he believes is capable of securing progression at Molineux.
The likes of Luke Ayling, Mateusz Klich and Joe Gelhardt, who have struggled for minutes, will likely be given game time against the Midlands outfit, while Saturday’s heroes Sam Greenwood and Wilfried Gnonto may also be seen. However, the head coach could be tempted to hand some of the club’s U21s stars a chance in the first-team, too.
Michael Skubala’s youngsters saw off Newcastle United 4-2 at Thorp Arch on Monday afternoon but his selection appeared to provide a large hint regarding Marsch’s cup plans. Here’s a look at the four youngsters that could be involved against Wolves.
