Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Thursday, 17 February 2022.
Struijk on his injury
Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk has opened up on his injury frustration that ruled him out of action for six matches.
Struijk missed the entirety of the festive period, as well as the first half of January, after picking up a strange foot injury in training.
Speaking to BBC West Yorkshire Sport, Struijk revealed that due to the nature of the injury, he was not able to move around the pitch normally.
He said: "It was really uncomfortable and really annoying for me because I wanted to play in the times we were struggling. But it's a good thing I'm back now.
"It was stress reactions.
"So, just before a stress fracture you get stress reactions in your foot and it was really uncomfortable for me to walk and to push off, so every time I would push off sideways I would feel like I was dropping through, so I had no power to go left or right which is no good for me to play in the team.
"If I walk with someone and he goes inside, I'd be on the floor and he goes past me so I would be of no use.”

Aaronson fan reaction
Brenden Aaronson proved exactly why Leeds United were so keen on his signature last month with an excellent performance in RB Salzburg’s Champions League tie with Bayern Munich.
Aaronson provided an assist as the Austrian side earned an impressive 1-1 draw, with only Kingsley Coman’s 90th minute equaliser for Bayern preventing Salzburg from taking a lead back to Germany.
Leeds reportedly saw a £20 million bid turned down for the 21-year-old last month as Salzburg wanted to keep him until the end of the season due to their European participation.
Following such an eye-catching performance on the big stage, Leeds fans now believe it will be difficult to prise him to Elland Road this summer.

Bogusz surgery
Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Bogusz has confirmed he has undergone successful surgery on a knee injury he picked up while on loan at UD Ibiza.
Bogusz has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee after he had enjoyed a strong first half of the season in the Spanish second division.
The 20-year-old netted four goals and provided seven assists in 20 matches for Ibiza, until injury cut his season short.
Taking to Instagram, Bogusz has now confirmed surgery in London on his knee this week, captioning the image of him in a hospital bed: “All good. One day closer to comeback.”
