Here are the evening Leeds United headlines on Wednesday, May 4.
Pickford states 'hard work' is still needed for Everton to survive drop
Everton secured an unlikely and potentially crucial victory over Chelsea last Sunday. That win moved the Toffees to just two points behind Leeds, with a game-in-hand over the Whites and an easier fixture list to boot.
Jordan Pickford has stated that his side will not relax in the relegation battle though, as 'hard work' is still required. He told Everton's website: "It is going to be hard work over the final five games and it is on us as a team to keep working on the training pitch every day, giving 100-per-cent effort and commitment. If we do that, the quality will come.

“Richarlison worked hard for 45 minutes against Chelsea and had a couple of chances, then he got his reward with the goal in the 46th minute, because he'd continued working hard."
The England goalkeeper stated that whilst they celebrated a momentous victory, they are already looking ahead: “Yes, we could enjoy the win – but we have to stay focused on getting results.
“That means preparing for the next match and our attentions now turn to Leicester on Sunday.”
Support pours in for Stuart Dallas
Leeds United's talismanic utility man, Stuart Dallas sustained a femoral fracture in the Whites' 4-0 loss to Manchester City at the weekend. The injury will see the Northern Irishman out of action for a 'lengthy period' and messages from Leeds United players, current and old have been pouring in for last season's double Player of the Year.
On social media, messages came in from Dallas' current teammates, as Diego Llorente, Raphinha, Joe Gelhardt, Adam Forshaw and others all sent their best wishes to the 31-year-old. Meanwhile, former teammates, Eddie Nketiah, Ezgjan Alioski and Barry Douglas were also in touch, as was the man who signed Dallas for the club, Uwe Rosler.
The Burnley decision which has left Leeds United 'favourites for relegation'
After Leeds defeated Watford and Burnley lost to Norwich City in the second weekend of April, Leeds looked like their Premier League safety would be secure. The Clarets seemed set to go down with Norwich and Watford and the Whites had a healthy gap over them, despite Burnley having games-in-hand.
However, before playing those games, Burnley sacked their legendary manager, Sean Dyche. A caretaker manager was appointed in the shape of U23s coach Mike Jackson, with captain Ben Mee assisting. This was initially mocked on social media but the team are unbeaten since the change was made and they have won their last three fixtures to draw level on points with Leeds, going above them on goal difference.
