Here are your Leeds United morning headlines for Tuesday, February 7.
Ian Wright makes Unai Emery comparison amid Leeds United's new manager search
Ian Wright believes Leeds require someone of the ilk of Aston Villa boss Unai Emery to replace Jesse Marsch in order to provide stability at Elland Road.
Marsch was relieved of his duties on Monday after a dismal run of just two wins from his last 17 league games at the helm.

The American leaves Leeds above the relegation zone only on goal difference, and Wright has been quick to allude to the instant impact which Emery has had at Villa Park.
Former Villarreal and Arsenal boss Emery has collected five wins from his first eight league games to propel the Villains away from the relegation battle. And Arsenal legend Wright insists Leeds must appoint an experienced European manager, after their recent struggles under Marsch.
“They need someone to come in and have the kind of energy of an Unai Emery. They need a manager that’s experienced," Wright told Premier League Productions.
“A European manager that’s not going to panic in this situation by going to a Leeds. You need somebody that’s going to be very stable in his thinking. Confident in his coaching.
“I am telling you, Villa will do what they need to do with that manager. That’s where I think they need to go now. They have gone down the Bielsa rock n roll and he has come, then with the American vibe as well – after watching them, I am not getting them. They need stability.”
Leeds United's men that matter as hunt for Jesse Marsch successor gets underway
The process to find Jesse Marsch’s replacement is already underway and Leeds United are hopeful of making a quick appointment. Time is not on their side with Premier League games coming thick and fast over the next few weeks but it would benefit the Whites to find a successor quickly.
Only 18 league games remain and therefore, the more time he can have at Thorp Arch to work with his inherited squad, the better. Shortlists have been drawn up and some big decisions will be made in the coming days and weeks, but who will be making them?
As the majority shareholder Andrea Radrizzani’s voice is the loudest. The Italian owns 56 per cent of shares and therefore he is the man with the most responsibility resting on his shoulders to make the right call on the new head coach.
Leeds United chaos, drama, emotion and management spiel papered over Jesse Marsch cracks
Three fingers can probably add up the occasions Leeds United looked like a competent, progressive project with a future under Jesse Marsch. That’s three matches from the 37 Marsch took charge of across 343 days.
That sums up why Andrea Radrizzani and the board had to act. If you’re a Leeds boss at the helm of a listing ship in February, you have to live in fear of your phone ringing.
Thomas Christiansen and Marcelo Bielsa each took bullets from the Elland Road hierarchy in February when it became clear pre-season expectations were in danger of getting away from them. Radrizzani, Victor Orta and Angus Kinnear evidently have a cut-off point where enough is considered enough.
