Brenden Aaronson speaks of 'huge moment' he knew of Whites interest
Leeds United confirmed the signing of Brenden Aaronson on Thursday evening and the American international has given an interview to the club's website, speaking of his happiness of signing for the Whites. When it came to discovering that the Premier League club were interested in his signature, Aaronson described it as a 'huge moment.'
The 21-year-old said: "I think it was around Christmas or January that I could see there was some interest and hearing about Leeds United being interested, it was a huge moment for me and I was super excited. I had known a lot about Leeds at that time and what a famous club it is, the fans they have and how dedicated they are, it was just a dream place for me.
"We’re going to have a big next season and I am really excited to be a part of it. I know the team is going to be up for it, so it is going to be an important season. I am not even thinking about my off-season, I am just excited to get back into it!"

Cardiff City boss makes Cody Drameh Champions League prediction as he hails Leeds United defender
Leeds' young full-back Cody Drameh earned many plaudits for his loan period at Cardiff City in the second half of the 21/22 season. The 20-year-old pushed for a move in January after becoming unhappy at his game time for the Whites and went on to play every available match for the Bluebirds.
Cardiff manager, Steve Morison spoke about his future, stating that he 'will get' to play in the Champions League: "He is a great kid and he deserved all the awards he’s got. He is a top example to any of our young players, if they want to know how to get to the top and be as good as him – take a leaf out of his book.
"He is investing in himself. He is already top drawer and he is trying to get to the top. He came out in Champions League football boots the other day and he said, ‘That’s where I want to get to’. He will get there."

Leeds United sent Brennan Johnson transfer warning by Wales boss Robert Page
Brennan Johnson may become a Premier League footballer on Saturday, should Nottingham Forest come out victorious against Huddersfield Town in the Championship play-off final. However, Leeds are one of several teams who would like to sign the young forward, should Steve Cooper's side fail in their ambition.
Johnson is a Welsh international and Rob Page - interim manager of Wales - has warned Leeds and Johnson's other suitors that the player is going to the top of the game, so they could miss their chance of signing him, should they not act quickly. He said:
"Brennan is the future of Welsh football and I think he's top-six (Premier League) now. He's shown he's got that potential and ability. I've seen it in him for a long time and it's been great to watch his development. I think that the teams showing interest in him in January have lost out now."
