Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Wednesday, 27 July.
Milan raise CDK offer
AC Milan have reportedly raised their offer for Club Brugge forward Charles de Ketelaere. That is according to journalist Luca Bianchin, who claims that de Ketelaere is now just one step away from the San Siro after Milan increased their bid to €35 million including bonuses.
Leeds United have had a bid on the table for the 21-year-old for several weeks now, but de Ketelaere’s preference of a move to Milan means the Whites have had to take a back seat. Milan have been haggling over the fee for a number of days but finally appear to have satisfied Brugge’s demands.
Jimenez out
Leeds United face Wolves on Saturday, August 6, but Bruno Lage's side will be without key man Raul Jimenez for their Premier League opener. It's a big blow for Wolves, but a potential boost for Leeds, who will now be facing the Black Country side without their star striker, who picked up a knee injury in their pre-season friendly against Besiktas.

Wolves have provided an official update on Jimenez, with comments from head of performance and medicine, Dr Rob Chakraverty.
“Raul came off in the game against Besiktas after he stretched for the ball and felt something in his knee and his groin," he said. "Scans reveal that he has suffered a medial collateral ligament injury to his knee and a minor strain of his adductor.
"Neither injury is very serious but he is expected to be out for a number of weeks.”

U21s fixtures
Leeds United U21s are set to kick off their Premier League 2 Division 2 campaign with a trip to Pride Park to face Derby County. Following relegation last season, the Whites youngsters will be looking to kick start another push for promotion, just as they did two years ago.
Leeds – who are still yet to appoint an U21s manager ahead of the new season – will then face Norwich City in their first home game. Other key dates include hosting Newcastle United on November 7, the final match before the club campaign takes a two-month break for the World Cup.
The season then gets back underway with a trip to Nottingham Forest on January 9, with the young Whites rounding off the year with a home match against Middlesbrough on April 24. As it stands, Leeds will play three games at Elland Road across the campaign against Southampton, Aston Villa and Sunderland.
