Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Bogusz has sealed a return to Spanish side UD Ibiza on a season-long-loan. Bogusz makes the move after completing his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury picked up while on loan there last season earlier this year.
The 21-year-old had been enjoying an impressive campaign until his long spell on the sidelines, scoring four goals and providing seven assists in 20 La Liga Two appearances. Bogusz has less than 12 months left to run on his current contract at Leeds and so his long-term future at Elland Road is very much in the balance.
He has made just three senior appearances for the Whites since his move from Ruch Chorzow back in January 2019. It will be the third consecutive season spent out on loan in the Spanish Second Division, with the first coming at UD Logrones and then UD Ibiza.
