Leeds United remain in the market for reinforcements at the back and in attack before the close of the window. The Whites have already brought in five new players this summer but are keen to bring in a new left back and striker to complete their list of incomings.
Links have been relatively sparse in recent weeks with Leeds heavily pursuing a deal for Club Brugge’s Charles de Ketelaere. However, with his move to AC Milan now imminent, Leeds will now be forced to look elsewhere in their search for a new attacker.
In terms of outgoings, Jack Harrison is heavily interesting cash-rich Newcastle United this summer. Reports from France claim Leeds have turned down a bid worth €40 million and so that is one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

With odds taking from SkyBet, here is a look at who the bookies think is most likely to make the switch to Elland Road before the end of the window.
Adama Traore – 8/1
Leeds have long been linked with a move for Wolves’ Adama Traore, which is predominantly due to Victor Orta’s admiration of the player. Orta signed him during his time at Middlesbrough.
However, it doesn’t appear as though it has ever gone beyond interest from Orta at Leeds and at 8/1, Sky also think it is unlikely.
Armando Broja – 16/1
As is common knowledge, Leeds are in the market for a striker and Armando Broja is among the names who have been linked, all be it several months ago. Chelsea have quoted an asking price of around £30 million for Broja with Everton and West Ham United thought to be the most keen.
There is also a chance Broja remains at Chelsea and at 16/1, the odds of him coming to Elland Road are slim.
Danny Ings – 10/1
If feels as though if Aston Villa receive an adequate offer for Danny Ings he could be on his way out after only 12 months in the Midlands. There have been some tenuous links to Leeds, though given his age, he isn’t a player who fits the club’s current transfer strategy.
Again, at 10/1, the bookies are backing that view point up as they see this one as highly unlikely.
Nicolas Pepe – 16/1
It would be interesting to see how these odds change if Newcastle are able to strike a deal for Jack Harrison. Nicolas Pepe is set to be allowed to leave Arsenal this summer if the right offer comes in and Leeds have been linked.
At the moment, Leeds don’t look like they will bring another winger in, but if Harrison departs, they may have to rethink that strategy.
Ryan Kent – 18/1
A name who seems to have been linked with Leeds for the last five years now. Given Kent is primarily a left winger, it is hard to see Leeds pursuing him after bringing in Luis Sinisterra.
While Orta is an admirer, it feels as though Kent was a name predominantly pushed by Marcelo Bielsa when he was the manager. 18/1 for a reason here.
Jack Harrison – 5/2 (to join Newcastle)
At present, Sky view Harrison to Newcastle as the most likely deal involving Leeds. The Magpies are strongly interested but reports claim they view Leeds’ asking price as to steep.
At 5/2, though, the bookies clearly think there is some substance to this link.
