Leeds United international round-up as USA duo feature in final World Cup warm-up match

Leeds United World Cup Leo Hjelde Brenden Aaronson Jesse Marsch Tyler Adams Wilfried Gnonto EPL Saudi Arabia Whites

Tyler Adams was among the standout performers for Leeds United's international contingent in action this evening. The Whites combative midfielder played the full 90 minutes in the USMNT's draw with Saudi Arabia, picking up a yellow card.

Fellow Leeds midfielder Brenden Aaronson came on for the last 15 minutes replacing Weston McKennie. The United States will now take on Wales in their opening game of Group B at the World Cup in Qatar in November, before facing England four days later.

Centre-half Diego Llorente was an unused substitute in Spain's 1-0 win with Portugal. Alvaro Morata's 88th minute winner means Spain will join Croatia, Italy and the Netherlands in next year’s Nations League finals.
