Leeds United injury list as huge Elland Road double awaits following Arsenal defeat

It's undoubtedly the most important week of the season so far for Leeds United but Javi Gracia will be missing some of his most key individuals in what is an Elland Road double-header next week.

The Whites will be hosting both Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, both of whom sit within four points above them in the Premier League table amid one of the closest relegation battles in recent memory.

If Leeds can get all six points next week, they could jump from 16th up to as high as 12th but with both the Reds and the Eagles winning this weekend, it'll be a tough ask with some of their best players on the injury tables.

With that, here's a look at Leeds United's injury list in full...

Tyler Adams - Thigh

Tyler Adams underwent surgery on his thigh and could miss out the rest of the season after becoming a stalwart in the Leeds United midfield.

What Gracia said (March 30): "Tyler, we'll see his evolution but after this surgery we'll see if he can play any games this season. Day-by-day."

Potential return date: Unknown

Wilfried Gnonto - Ankle

Gnonto was forced off with an ankle injury after just 22 minutes in Italy's 2-0 win over Malta on Sunday and was forced to miss the trip to the Emirates, with the hope being he will be back sooner rather than later.

What Gracia said (March 30): "I'm sorry, but I cannot clarify because I don't know. What I know is they're out for this game. I think it will be more time, one week more, two weeks; it depends on their evolution."

Potential return date: Unknown

Max Wober - Thigh

Wober was subbed off with an injury in his thigh muscle during Austria's 4-1 win over Azerbaijan in their EURO 2024 qualification match, and returned back to Elland Road for treatment.

What Gracia said (March 30): "'I'm sorry, but I cannot clarify because I don't know. What I know is they're out for this game. I think it will be more time, one week more, two weeks; it depends on their evolution."

Potential return date: Unknown

Adam Forshaw - Hip

After his run of consistent first-team appearances over the winter break, Forshaw suffered a hip problem that has seen him out for the start of the year and will be on the sidelines for a little while longer.

What Gracia said (March 16 ): "Working to recover [his] best condition, but working out of the team, so I can't tell you more info. Of course, I want them to be ready ASAP, but in this case, I'm not sure the time [he] needs to be back with the team."

Potential return date: Unknown

Stuart Dallas - Leg

Dallas went to Spain to complete rehab work as he continues his recovery from a fractured femur he suffered against Manchester City in April last year. He was, however, forced to undergo a second surgery to 'clean some things up'.

What Dallas said (March 30): "Look I’d love to be back tomorrow morning but I can’t be so, listen, we can’t say when for sure I’ll be back but I’m aiming towards obviously the back end of the season and the summer, and then we’ll take it from there.

"It’s been a long and frustrating period but I feel like I am finally getting there."

What Gracia said (March 16): "Working to recover [his] best condition, but working out of the team, so I can't tell you more info. Of course, I want them to be ready ASAP, but in this case, I'm not sure the time [he] needs to be back with the team."

Potential return date: Unknown
