Leeds United will be travelling down to Selhurst Park this Sunday to face Crystal Palace but will be carrying a few knocks as they look for their third win of the season.
After the month-long gap between fixtures before the 0-0 draw against Aston Villa two days ago, many of the Whites players carrying injuries over the international break were able to recover and get back to full fitness.
Here is the full list of injuries that Leeds are currently soldiering and when they could possibly return to action ahead of their match against the Eagles.
Patrick Bamford - Available
Many, including manager Jesse Marsch, thought Bamford would be fully fit for the Aston Villa match but it appears from his post-match press conference that he's carrying a knock.
Marsch said (Oct. 3): "Patrick had a little bit of a knock that he took and wasn't able to train all week. So he was a little bit in question whether he was going to be available or not. I decided not to tell you guys that two days ago.
"I hope you don't hold it against me that I held some information back but in the end, I felt like he was going to be available and I didn't want to put any information out that he was maybe a little bit injured or picked up a little something. I felt pretty strongly that he would be ready to go today."
Archie Gray - Toe
16-year-old Archie Gray might be the youngest player in the Leeds squad but after suffering an injury that'll keep him out of Marsch's plans, he'll be out of training for potentially another two weeks.
Marsch said (Sept 30): "Archie Gray had an incident at home where he stubbed his toe and he fractured a little bit of his big toe. He’s been out of training for two weeks and he’ll be out probably for another two weeks."
Potential return date : 15/10/2022
Adam Forshaw - Ankle
Adam Forshaw has had an unfortunate history of injuries during his time at Elland Road and sadly this season hasn't been injury-free. He's only played 78 games over the last five years at Leeds but should be back in the squad in training this week after hurting his ankle.
Marsch said (Sept 30): "Adam Forshaw twisted his ankle this week. It’s not so bad but he won’t be available this weekend. Other than that every single player is available for us so we’re feeling like we’re getting to full strength."
Potential return date : 08/10/2022
Stuart Dallas - Leg
Stuart Dallas suffered a fractured femur after a 50/50 challenge with Manchester City winger Jack Grealish back in April's 4-0 loss and was originally ruled out for six months.
Marsch said (Sept 30): “Stuart is making a really good recovery. He went down to see a specialist and they feel like he is doing really well and he’s on track. Obviously it will still be some time for him."
Potential return date : Unknown
