Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has claimed that Leeds United got "Space Jammed" during their 5-1 defeat to Crystal Palace after they conceded four goals in the second-half.
Moments before the half-time whistle blew, Javi Gracia would have been cursing his luck that his side would be walking down the tunnel only 1-0 up. The Whites had outplayed and outperformed Palace as Sam Johnstone had almost single-handedly kept the visitors within touching distance before the break.
However, Patrick Bamford's opener was cancelled out in first-half added time by Marc Guehi meaning that Leeds and Palace would head in level at the break. A Jekyll and Hyde performance would see the Whites implode after the restart as they went on to concede four goals at home to their relegation rivals - with just 24 minutes passing between the Eagles second and fifth strikes.

After the full-time whistle blew, Wright could only compare the performance to that of the famous movie Space Jam, insinuating that the Leeds squad lost whatever 'powers' they had in the first-half when they came out after half-time.
"It's like they got Space Jammed," he told BBC's Match of the Day 2. "It's like someone took their talent off of them in the second-half. That second-half performance from Leeds, if I am a Leeds fan, I am very worried.
"That's relegation form. To be playing that badly, at this stage of the season when you need points - at home - and you get beaten like that in the second-half after a performance like that in the first-half, that's very worrying."
