Leeds United supporters have rallied behind the club's announcement that Javi Gracia has now become their new head coach.
Leeds confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that they had agreed terms with Gracia to become their new manager following Jesse Marsch's dismissal more than a fortnight ago. The 52-year-old has signed on a "flexible contract" and the club hope that he will be in the dugout for their vital Premier League clash with Southampton at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
A whole host of names had been linked with the top job at Leeds after Marsch departed over two weeks ago, but fans finally have someone to get behind for the final 15 games of the season. Gracia takes over with his new squad just one point above the Saints, as the Whites sit 19th in the table following their 1-0 defeat to Everton last weekend.

The Toffees have benefitted from somewhat of a new manager bounce under Sean Dyche and Leeds supporters will be hoping that they can follow suit this weekend. The former Watford boss knows that he takes over a side that are without a top-flight win since November as he looks to get them back to winning ways.
Three points on Saturday afternoon against relegation rivals would be the perfect start to his tenure and there will be no doubting that the Elland Road faithful will give him a warm reception ahead of kick-off. As news of his appointment began to filter through, fans took to social media to show that despite the fact he was not everybody's first choice, they will still support Gracia as he put pen to paper to become the new head coach at Leeds.
