Leeds United target Lewis O'Brien is said to be a wanted man this summer, with plenty of Premier League clubs keen on signing the Huddersfield Town midfielder. The 23-year-old played a pivotal part in the Terriers side that made it to Wembley for the Championship play-off final against Nottingham Forest last weekend.
However, Huddersfield lost out on the day 1-0, which means they will be playing Championship football again next season. BBC Sport reports a number of top flight sides are keen on signing O'Brien, who was on Leeds United's radar last summer. The Whites tried to sign the midfielder last year, but were unable to come to an agreement for his services.
O'Brien is thought to be available for around £10m this summer. Had Huddersfield won promotion, it was rumoured he would be given a new contract to ensure the Terriers would stand to earn much more than the mooted £10m in the event of his sale.

That contract extension would be O'Brien's second in one season after he signed a new deal in September of last year. His current deal runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Given the interest currently surrounding Leeds' Kalvin Phillips, signing O'Brien might become a necessity for Jesse Marsch's side.
The lack of depth in Leeds' midfield behind Phillips is alarming. Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas both suffered long-term injuries at the back end of the season, which leaves Mateusz Klich as the Whites only other real first-team centre midfielder with Premier League experience.
While O'Brien has yet to play at the highest level, plenty of team mates, pundits and ex-pros have touted him as having the ability to make the jump to the Premier League sooner rather than later.
At around £10m, the Terriers midfielder could prove to be a real bargain for Leeds should they go back in for the midfielder this summer.
