Leeds came away with a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace on Monday night despite a very difficult evening with very little potency in attack and some last-ditch defending at the other end. An extended break between matches was seen as another vital opportunity, early in Marsch’s tenure, to improve the squad’s familiarity with his tactical plan.
"Result is big,” said Marsch. “Every point is important, but performance, not our best, but defensively very stable.
