Leeds United now look set to complete their second signing of the summer as a deal for Red Bull Salzburg right-back Rasmus Kristensen has now been agreed. That's according to The Athletic, after numerous outlets have reported that a move has been edging closer in the past few days.
The exciting 24-year-old right-back has been described as the best defender in Austria after an impressive season with Jesse Marsch's former side. The Danish defender is being touted for a £10million move away from the Red Bull Arena this summer, with Marsch keen on a reunion with the 24-year-old.
It is set to be Leeds' second signing of the summer, and the second from Red Bull Salzburg's Brenden Aaronson joined for £25 million last month. The Athletic have reported that Kristensen’s transfer is still subject to a medical but Leeds are hoping to conclude formalities by the end of this week, despite the defender’s involvement in international fixtures with Denmark.
