Leeds United have broken their own unwanted Premier League record for goals conceded in a single calendar month. The Whites shipped 23 goals in the top flight in April, rounding off a terrible month.
Javi Gracia's side picked up just one win from seven games as they edged closer and closer to the bottom three - picking up just four points from a possible 21 available to them. Heading into the month, there was plenty of promise having beaten Wolves and picked up a point against high flying Brighton at the end of March.
However, the tone was somewhat set with a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal at Elland Road. The Whites bounced back with a win over Nottingham Forest in a six pointer, but collapsed from thereon out.

Crystal Palace put five past the Whites as they were beaten 5-1, with Liverpool winning 6-1 at Elland Road in the following fixture. Leeds tightened up somewhat defensively in the away game at Fulham, but they were beaten 2-1 by the European contenders.
A 1-1 with Leicester City saw Leeds maintain their gap from the Foxes, but the 4-1 thumping at the Vitality means the Whites have the worst defensive record in the division. In February last season, Leeds conceded 20 goals which was the previous worst for goals conceded in a calendar month.
The Whites have also broke a new record for the most goals in in a single calendar month by an English top-flight side since Newcastle in April 1986, who conceded 21.
