Leeds to bask in 28C heat next week as new heatwave sweeps across UK

The warm weather is set to continue in Leeds next week with temperatures expected to reach 28C.

The Met Office is predicting more 'above normal' temperatures will sweep across the UK over the coming days and temperatures could rise even further from August 15. And while the heat will not reach the levels of the 40C heatwave that hit last month, there is still the potential for some uncharacteristically warm weather.

According to the Met Office and BBC weather, temperatures could reach 29C in many parts of Yorkshire towards the end of next week. In Leeds, temperatures will reach 28C on Thursday and the glorious sunshine will continue into the weekend.
