Leeds United want a manager in place for next weekend's relegation six-pointer against Everton at Goodison Park, according to reports.
The Lilywhites are yet to find a permanent replacement for Jesse Marsch, who was sacked on Monday, January 6 after a run of just one of their ten Premier League matches since a remarkable last-gasp win against Liverpool back in October. The American had been in the job for less than twelve months.
Earlier this week, Leeds saw their interest in West Brom's Carlos Corberan cease when the Spaniard swiftly penned fresh terms at the Hawthorns. Meanwhile, Feyenoord manager Arne Slot also decided to stay put with his current employers.

Victor Orta, the Yorkshire outfit's sporting director, is reported by the Daily Mail to 'want' a replacement in time for the club's visit to Goodison Park next Saturday, where they face an Everton side revitalised under Sean Dyche following the sacking of Frank Lampard last month.
Rayo Vallecano’s Andoni Iraola is claimed to be Leeds United's next choice, with Steven Gerrard and former Wolverhampton and Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who currently manages in Saudi Arabia, also linked.
Despite Marsch's sacking, Leeds claimed a deserved score draw at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening and will have been disappointed to surrender a share of the spoils to Eric Ten Hag's side after racing into a two-goal lead. Under-21s manager Michael Skubala, who has overseen first-team duties in the absence of Marsch's successor, will also be in the dugout when Manchester United make the trip to Elland Road for the return fixture on Sunday.
Leeds currently sit one point and one place above Everton in the Premier League table and next weekend's meeting on Merseyside is already being touted as one that could have serious ramifications for the losers following wins for Wolves and West Ham United in recent weeks.
The Blues will make the short trip across Stanley Park and to Anfield on Monday evening to take on city rivals Liverpool, in the club's second match since Dyche's appointment.
