A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a 10-year-old boy in Holbeck.
Last week, on Thursday, September 15, police discovered the school boy's body in a flat in Cross Ingram Road. His mum, aged 30, was also found dead in their home.
Police were called when neighbours were concerned they had not seen the mum and child "for a while". Neighbours assumed they had gone to their home country of Portugal, where they would often visit, but as weeks passed they became "worried".
