York Knights have confirmed the signing of Leeds Rhinos forward Oli Field. The 20-year-old has signed a permanent deal after a successful loan period and will remain with the club until the end of the 2025 season.
Field captained Leeds' Academy and has represented England at junior level. He is York's second acquisition from Leeds in recent months after they also signed Levi Edwards. Also capable of playing in the halves, he was handed a full-time contract at Headingley last year, as well as a squad number. But he will now continue his career in the Championship.
“I’m really pleased to have signed Oli on a permanent deal," coach Andrew Henderson said. “We identified Oli as a young player with lots of potential and we had the opportunity to bring him in on loan and have a closer look at him and see where he’s at.
