Leeds Rhinos winger contributes to Bradford Bulls' famous win over Toulouse

On-loan Leeds Rhinos winger Liam Tindall inspired Bradford Bulls to a shock 28-18 victory over recently relegated Toulouse Olympique on Saturday afternoon. Forward James McDonnell was initially named in Mark Dunning's 21-man squad, but didn't make the final matchday 17.

Alongside fellow ex-Rhinos Jordan Baldwinson and Jordan Lilley, the Bulls inflicted a first defeat for the French outfit since their drop back into the second flight. Trailing at the break and conceding early in the second half, it needed something special from the Bulls to produce a comeback.

Joe Arundel got the ball rolling, then it was Tindall's turn to go over in the corner after a well-worked move. Tries from AJ Wallace, Ben Blackmore and a penalty conversion from Tom Holmes would follow, and were enough to keep the two points this side of the English Channel.

George Flanagan Snr was sent to the sin bin with two minutes to play for a trip, but the Bulls managed to stay composed and held on for the victory.

Tindall is no stranger to Odsal. He made two appearances for the Bulls in 2022, scoring in both games against Batley Bulldogs and Workington Town. During his time at Headingley, he has played 17 times, 15 as a starter since making his debut three years ago.
