Leeds pub announces 'Doggy Carveries' on Sundays and people love it

This is the pub in Leeds serving doggy carveries once a week, and people are going crazy for it.

The Yew Tree Inn, in Otley, announced they will be serving dog carveries alongside human carveries every Sunday from 12pm until 4pm.

For £1.50 per pooch, they will get meat scraps, a little gravy and “healthy” veggies.

Posting on Facebook, they said: “As massive dog lovers, we are excited to announce our new DOGGY CARVERIES!!!!

"Served every Sunday from 12pm till 4pm alongside human carveries!!! Just £1.50 per dog for meat scraps, healthy veggies and a little gravy! (All proceeds donated to Moorview Rescue).”

People have praised the pub for the idea with some wishing other places had this idea.

One person commented: “Love this! Never been before but will definitely pay a visit now.”

The pub is rated four and a half stars on TripAdvisor, and is ranked number 16 of restaurants in Otley.
