As families across the country begin to feel the pinch from the rising cost of living, new data has revealed the richest and poorest neighbourhoods in Leeds
The data, provided by the Office for National Statistics, was based on the average total income of every household in the region, with the final figure the sum of any gross income of earnings combined with the income from state benefits such as Working Tax Credit.
Although the data didn’t take into account the size of the households involved in the study, the results do give a reasonable idea of the stark difference in income that separates the city - sometimes only a few miles apart.
