A Leeds park is Britain's best place for autumn leaf spotting.
Temple Newsam with its wide variety of deciduous trees makes it the UK's number one spot for enjoying natural autumn colours. That's according to Enjoy Travel which ranked the municipal park top of the leaf-peeping chart.
Spots were rated on their range of colours, diversity of flora, overall beauty and unique things to do. Temple Newsam's Tudor-Jacobean hall and old farmyard ensure it satisfies the last category.

Enjoy Travel says: "Although the estate is beautiful all year round, it truly is a special place in autumn. As the surrounding forest and woodland around the house turn a stunning burnt orange hue, you will be able to discover the natural world from a whole other perspective.
"Once you have finished pottering around the gardens, perhaps with a flask of hot chocolate as you take in the fresh autumn air, you can then spend some time looking at some of the most spectacular art and silverware collections that are kept within the house."
