A Leeds mum has spoken out about her devastation after her teenage son took his own life while studying for his GCSEs.
One morning in February 2017, 15-year-old Daniel Long had come home from a friend's house and told his mum Emma Oliver he was going upstairs to do some exam revision. Emma heard a bang from downstairs. Tragically, she went to check on Daniel to find he'd taken his own life.
Daniel's suicide devastated Emma, now 48, and her family. She's spent the years since trying to rebuild and honour Daniel, while taking action to help other teenagers struggling with their mental health.
