A Leeds man diagnosed with testicular cancer at just 22 is refusing to give up hope as his girlfriend battles to get him back to work.
Cameron Dale was diagnosed with testicular cancer at just 22 years old and despite chemotherapy it has now spread throughout his body.
He was first diagnosed with the disease in October 2022 and underwent weeks of treatment and chemotherapy but then received more bad news. The cancer had spread and he is now undergoing more intense treatment meaning he struggles to go to his job at the Horsforth Golf Club.

His girlfriend, Ella Browne, from Burley-in-Wharfedale, said: "Cameron was diagnosed with testicular cancer, they’ve classed his cancer as stage IV as it has spread to other organs in his body. After weeks of chemotherapy and surgery we thought he was on the home stretch.
"Cameron then received a phone call on what he thought was a check up, he was told he needed more intense treatment and the uncertainty of what the next 5 years will bring."
Ella said her partner is still hopeful of 'getting back to normal' and the job that he loves to do.
She added: "Cameron wants to get his life back to normal as soon as he can so donating to this charity can help other young adults get the help they need.
"When he first got diagnosed, it was a massive shock. It was a really big hit and he really loves going to work, his work is his life.
"Even now, if he gets to a day where he feels okay, he will go to work because he just loves it"
Cameron, from Yeadon, is now approaching his 23rd birthday, but he will have to spend the day in a hospital room with just one visitor allowed to see him.
Ella is hoping to do a sponsored walk to try to raise money for the teenage and young persons cancer ward in Leeds on the day to make sure other young adults can also get the help they need.
She also hopes this will show Cameron how much support he has in the local community. Ella said: "That's the reason why we're doing it, celebrating him and just to cheer him up a bit.
"Making him feel loved by everyone else that's coming on the walk and donating your money."
Initially, Ella set a target of around £2,000 for the GoFundMe but has since smashed this goal and raised it to £3,000. She added: "Honestly, it's been absolutely amazing. I am so shocked at the amount of money and the messages that people have sent to us."
She said businesses in the local area of Burley-in-Wharfedale have been speaking to their colleagues about the walk and so far around 80 people have said they would like to join. The walk, which will start at Horsforth Golf Club, will end at Burley-in-Wharfedale Cricket Club.
At the club, there will be music, a barbecue and a raffle to help mark the day.
