Leeds locals have spoken of their "anger and upset" after a shooting in their neighbourhood.
The incident occurred on Woodhouse Street at 6.47pm on Tuesday (June 13) after several loud bangs were heard in the area. West Yorkshire Police deployed officers after male was seen in the road near the junction with Pennington Street carrying what appeared to be a firearm.
Father of three Lloyd, 50, said: "I feel angry, upset because I can't go about as I wish. I've got kids, so I feel I can't send my kids to the shops as anything can happen. I'm really not happy with what's going on."

Local barber Lokman Kamaran, 49, has run his shop TBE (The Best Ever) Barber, located mere yards away from the cordon, for five and a half years. He said: "I didn't see anything but I feel really bad. There are too many things happening, especially on this road, like car accidents.
"And other things that make you scared for you children and their future. I worry that something is going to happen to me next time, as I am working here."
Granfdmother-of-five Imelda Brown, 61, was walking past the cordon, holding the small hands of her three-year-old grandson. Imelda has lived in Woodhouse for most of her life.
She said: "It's just sad, if there's been a shooting or whatever. But I don't know what's happened so I can't say anything. It's bad. It's not the first time but it happens all over though, it's not just Woodhouse."
The force is appealing for information as the cordon in Woodhouse remains in place today. Police have made assurances that criminal use of firearms is something they treat "extremely seriously" and promised that extensive enquiries will continue to identify those involved.
