Local elections are being held across Leeds with the full results expected on May 5.
A grand total of 33 out of 99 seats are currently up for grabs with contestants from multiple different parties competing for votes. Labour is the current ruling party on the council, with 56 seats and the Conservatives make up the second largest party, with 21.
They are then followed by the Liberal Democrats on seven and the Morley Borough Independents on six. The rest of the council is made up of the Greens on four, the Garforth and Swillington Independents on three and the Social Democratic Party on one, another seat is vacant.

The polls closed at 10pm on May 4 and results are expected the next day, on May 5.
