Boos rung out around Bramham Park when the Leeds Festival crowd was asked if they were excited for tonight's last minute headliners.
There was a noticeable portion of the crowd that weren't too enthused when Charli XCX asked if they were excited to see The 1975 during her set today (Friday) ahead of the band on the Main Stage East.
As you can see in the video above, the boos were audible from the crowd. One person in the crowd told a Leeds Live reporter: "“I don’t really know many of their songs."

The 1975 were only made festival headliners in recent weeks after it was announced that American rock-rap group Rage Against The Machine had to cancel all of their shows in Europe.
The festival has faced issues with acts dropping out, with Charli XCX herself only being added to the bill last week after Jack Harlow and Maneskin pulled out.
It's been a strong start to 2022's edition of Leeds Festival, with Bradford trio Bad Boy Chiller Crew having already played the main stage and sets from Denzel Curry, Run The Jewels and Bastille also drawing large crowds.
