Petrol prices have fallen to the lowest point they've been at since the Ukraine war began early last year, the AA says.
Average prices have decreased to below 150p a litre for the first time since February 2022. The AA said average prices hit 149.74p per litre on Monday, January 9.
Petrol prices went up by staggering amounts when Russia invaded Ukraine last year, and had already increased due to the impact of Covid lockdowns. Prices hit an average high of 191.53p in July.
